Although there is widespread recognition of the underrepresentation of South Asians in the UK music industry, there is a lack of quantifiable data to accurately define this gap and guide resource allocation. Lila is collaborating with partners at The Center for Music Ecosystem to produce a survey that will illuminate the current state of South Asian representation in UK music. Our survey is open to all artists and industry professionals of South Asian heritage in the UK music industry. We are currently collecting responses, please take part in our research by filling out and circulating the survey.
