Our Team

At Lila, we're on a mission to amplify the voices and talents of South Asian artists in the UK music industry. Our work is rooted in the belief that diversity enriches the creative landscape and that every artist deserves a platform to shine.

TEAM

Vikram, a visionary in sync and music publishing with over 16 years of experience, has founded influential ventures including Elephant Music, Subtle Energy, Split Music, and Mammoth Audio. His innovative spirit extends outside of music with Mammoth Beer, Mammoth Taproom and most recently film production.

Vikram founded LILA Music in early 2024, in association with the Center for Music Ecosystems, where he serves as an advisor leveraging his expertise to help shape a more inclusive global music ecosystem.

Rohan builds practical collaborations between artists, organisations and supporters. Drawing on communications and creative production experience at McCann Central and Punch Records, he turns shared goals into concrete plans and keeps partners moving together. He is also undertaking a PhD in data visualisation at the University of Warwick, developing methods that help teams work from the same picture and act on it.

Strategy & Partnerships Manager

Tripti Rai is the London based Operations Manager at Lila Music, dedicated to expanding music education and accessibility. With three years of experience working at the grassroots level for Make A Difference in Nagpur, Tripti has also spent four years producing short films.

Currently, Tripti supports Vikram Gudi in business development at Elephant Music, bringing a blend of creative and operational experience to Lila Music’s mission of making music a tool for positive change.

Shain is a globally recognised thought leader at the convergence of music, culture and urban policy. This is showcased in his debut book, This Must Be The Place: How Music Can Make Your City Better.

Shain is the executive chairman of Sound Diplomacy and founder and executive director of the not-for-profit global Center for Music Ecosystems.

He has authored authoritative reports on the role of music in cities, tourism, the night time economy, real estate and recovery, including the most extensive guide to music and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ever written, in partnership with the United Nations.

Music entrepreneur Ammo Talwar’s leadership and vision built Punch Records into an award-winning music agency; working internationally and in partnership with leading private and public sector companies to support music, technology and innovation.

He received an MBE for contributions to music and young people. He is an alumni of the Blavatnik School of Government and University of Oxford.

Talwar is currently Chair of UK Music Diversity Taskforce, Chair of the newly formed KOKO Foundation and BPI board member.

KaraTamir is an industry-recognised innovation and marketing specialist with 18 years in major labels. She has significantly impacted commercial music technology and artist digital marketing in the UK and around the world.

She has worked across Classics, catalogue and frontline music, and has delivered projects for artists like RIOPY, The Beatles and more. She currently pilots new tech and partnerships at Warner Music Group.

A vocal advocate for music education and industry workplace relations, KaraTamir works closely with WMG UK's DEI team and drives ERG strategy for Asian staff. She is passionate about South Asian inclusivity and awareness across the music industry.

Rian Zoll-Khan is a music and media executive with over 15 years’ experience in the professional audio and entertainment industry.

He founded RNR Management, achieving multi-platinum selling records globally, over a billion streams and multiple sell out tours.

Building recording studios and championing education, grassroots venues, and access for underprivileged communities in music, he is also co-owner of the Headliner Media Group, leading its global expansion from a print magazine into digital media, events, content production, and global brand partnerships.

Indy Vidyalankara FRSA (She/Her) is the founder of Indypendent PR.

Indy is an accomplished Comms leader with a career spanning over two decades across music, media and third sector, from Sony Music UK as former Director of Communications, Saatchi & Saatchi and the BBC at BBC Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra and BBC TV.

She also sits on the UK Music Diversity Taskforce and the BPI Equity & Justice Advisory Group.

BISHI is an artist, composer, producer, and technologist whose work spans music, immersive tech, and performance. She has released multiple records, collaborated with Tony Visconti, Sean Ono Lennon, and The London Symphony Orchestra, and scored projects for Cannes and Channel 4.

Her AV installations have shown internationally, including Greenwich UNESCO Site. Founder of WITCiH, she champions women and non-binary creators in tech. BISHI is on the boards of FAC, The F-List and is Artist in Residence at The Pete Townshend at University of West London.

Supriya Nagarajan creates concept driven immersive music productions. Her music is a blend of South Indian classical traditions and Western contemporary styles. She has released albums under the Manasamitra label, Tokuroku and Come Play With Me. Her works like Lullaby Sonic Cradle, Sound of Tea and Bollywood Jazz project have won critical acclaim.

Supriya has been named in the Kings Honours list in June 2024 and been awarded a British Empire Medal for her services to music.
